Jennifer was born in Virginia and, after spending several years in New Jersey, grew up in Milford, a small town in the northeastern corner of Pennsylvania. She attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, where she completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics (it's a long story) and a Master's degree in Education with certifications in School Psychology and School Counseling.
After spending 8 years working in nonpublic schools in Bethlehem, PA, she married her long-time best friend, Michael, in 1992, and moved to North Carolina, where she worked for 1 year in the Durham Public School System. After stepping away from school work for 4 years, during which time she had 3 wonderful daughters, she returned to school psychology, taking a job with the Wake County Public Schools in 1998. She received her license to practice psychology as a Licensed Psychologist Assistant in 2005 and, since then, has enjoyed working with Jackelin Veloz-Jefferson at the West Vernon Center. Mrs. Case has spent over 30 years working with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals who are committed to enhancing the educational experience of children and adolescents. When she is not working, she enjoys being with her family (including 5 dogs!), reading, gardening, and singing.
